SikaControl®-110 WT KE

LIQUID MASS WATER REPELLENT FOR CONCRETE

SikaControl®-110 WT KE (formerly Sika® Hydofuge HSL) is a white liquid mass water repellent for concrete suitable for waterproofing purposes.

  • SikaControl®-110 WT KE combines with the lime of the cement to form crystallizations clogging the capillaries of the paste, making the concrete waterproof.
  • SikaControl®-110 WT KE is guaranteed chlorine-free.
  • SikaControl®-110 WT KE has no impact on the setting time or mechanical resistance of concrete.

Usage

  • Water-repellent concrete structures in the mass: foundations, rafts, tanks... etc.
  • Concrete structures that must withstand the attack of selenite, seawater, industrial water or pure water.

Storage conditions

Store in undamaged, unopened and sealed original containers at temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C. Protect from frost, direct sunlight and contamination. Note: When delivered in bulk, the tanks and equipment used must be free

Recommended dosage

The recommended range of use is 0.7 to 2.0% of the weight of cement. Note: Trial mixes should always be conducted to establish the exact dosage rates and water requirements per mix
Application steps

MIXING

  • SikaControl®-110 WT KE must be stirred slowly before use to ensure a homogeneous, lump free consistency.
  • SikaControl®-110 WT KE shall be diluted in the gauging water. The dilution must be stirred slowly (to ensure a homogeneous,lump free consistency) prior addition into the mortar/concrete mixer.
  • SikaControl®-110 WT KE can also be added neat to the mortar/concrete mix provided that the mixture is properly mixed to achieve a homogeneous consistency
