Sika® Plastocrete® N KE

WATERPROOFING CONCRETE ADMIXTURE 

A liquid admixture for concrete that acts as a highly efficient platiczer both water reducing and waterproofing agent.

Sika® Plastocrete® N KE provides the following properties:
  • Improved workability without increased water content
  • Allows easier compaction leading to denser concrete and superior finish
  • Increased strength and durability
  • Reduced shrinkage
  • Improved watertightness
  • Increased cohesiveness of mortar

Usage

Sika® Plastocrete® N KE is recommended for use in waterproofing of masonry and concrete structures such as:
  • Reservoirs and dams
  • Sewerage works
  • Canals
  • Culverts, tunnnels Water-tanks, swimming pools and wherever waterproof concrete is required.

Application

Application Information

Dispensing

Sika® Plastocrete® N KE Liquid should be dispensed directly into the mixing water, prior to its addition to the aggregates. Accurate dispening equipment is available on request. Where overdosing accidentally occurs, apart from retardation of initial set, no detrimental effect will take place
Consumption

Recommended dosage

Normal 0.5% by weight of cement. Sika® Plastocrete® N KE is compatible with all types of Portland cement
